Community Participation

Community volunteers are vital to our program.

Volunteers in the furniture programs provide one on one support for program participants. We’ll teach you our crafts so you can help. Skilled woodworkers volunteers repair furniture. We have a woodworking shop with the power tools you’ll need to do the job.

Volunteers of all ages are needed to work in the store, receiving and processing donations and displaying and selling merchandise.

Please contact our director, Eloise Newell or our store manager, Lori Kluender if you are interested in volunteering at Restoration Project.

Adult education classes in upholstering are taught in the evenings at Restoration Project by Kevin Kennedy of Upholstery on Broadway in Arlington. Contact Kevin Kennedy to learn more.
