Restoration Project

Restoring Lives, Building Futures

How to Help

Restoration Project is a grassroots organization. We rely on many in the community to help fulfill our mission of recovery and reintegration for individuals with mental illnesses and brain injuries. Our community includes people who volunteer and shop at our thrift store. We are always grateful for new people to join our community. Any way you can help is appreciated.

Volunteer

  • Even if it’s only a few hours a week, we can use your help.
  • Volunteer at our vocational program – volunteers in the furniture program provide one-on-one support for program participants. Experience with teaching, finishing, and upholstering is helpful but not required. We’ll teach you.
  • Volunteer at our thrift shop – Volunteers are also needed to work in our Thrift Store.  We can always use help to sort donations, organize and display items in the store, help at the cash register, or work online selling on eBay or Etsy. Skilled woodworkers are needed to repair donated furniture before it’s upholstered or finished by our program participants.

Shop Here

  • You help us when you shop at our thrift store. All proceeds help fund our vocational program. And you may leave with a great find at bargain price.
